Here is a brief summary of helpful information about insurance, managed care plans, and financial matters.
After each visit to the Carolinas Center for Surgery you will receive an itemized bill, which shows all the charges for your care. Your co-pay is due at the time of your visit. If you don’t have insurance, please be prepared to pay your charges at the time of service.
We file all types of heath insurance claims. If your insurance requires a referral from your primary care physician, please bring it with you when you come. We will file insurance claims for each office visit. We will file your charges to your health insurance for services, no matter which insurance company you may use. However, please keep us informed of your current insurance.
Our office participates with Medicare, Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, United, Tricare, Medcost and State Employees Health Plan, as well as other insurance companies. We accept Medicaid if the patient is referred to us by their family physician.
